happy_emmie@livejournal.com BioI am a mom to two wonderful boys, a SCAdian, a happy girlfriend to a wonderful man, a paralegal that love her job and our legal system (it is soooo much better than what I have seen in other countries - we have rights) and a person trying to enjoy life in general.
I am back in the SCA (medieval reenactment) and *loving* it. In the SCA I am Elisabeth Hänsler. I am blessed to have a wonderful partner in life that shares this passion with me. I am trying to learn hand-sewing and I'd love to learn to knot between beads... not as easy as it looks. (13th Century German)
I left the Army after a 13 1/2 year career to be a Mom and not a Soldier... I miss it, but I enjoy being "Mom" and "Emmie" more than "Sergeant First Class"... but I do miss the travelling (I love Korea!!!) and the good people.
I am enjoying my "civilian" life, but I am only now realizing what a huge imprint the military truly left on me - and how it helped mold me into who I am today.
